Boniface & Lilian Love story…

How we met: 

We met in the church where we fellowshipped together until now. Lilian was just a normal church girl and Boniface was the youth leader and a praise and worship leader too.

Lilian laughing, “I used to see him in town. I would describe him as a well dressed young man, always neat and was always in a hurry and this was before I joined his church at Happy church Eldoret.”

The PROPOSAL

Nothing serious was planned but we both agreed to visit our parents for their blessings which we did.However, I did pull a proposal on our wedding day…just before we exchanged our vows.Here is what I did; I planned it with my Bishop Boniface Runji that before we exchange our vows I will have something to say…Then the time came ….boom a pin drop silence…and the whole congregation was like what is happening here…Then down I went on my knees and proposed.She wasn’t expecting it and she could not hold back her tears

DATING:

We dated for 1 year. I asked her out one day and told her I like her and would love her to be my girlfriend. And as usual for ladies, they will always ask for more time to think. However, she just said yes. And there I was with all smiles.

Then the journey started……..

We both are in the same town so we could meet though not so often due to the nature of our jobs plus  different schedules. Nevertheless, we always created time for each other regardless of how busy we both were.

And if there was something that really helped us was the church activities which we both ensured that we do not miss.

 

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT EACH OTHER;

Boniface; I love my wife Lilian greatly because of the love she has for God. She is the proverbs 31 kind of woman that I have always wished for. She has a kind heart and we both share a lot of similarities and our differences blend in very well.

Lilian; I love my husband Boniface for a lot of things, but mostly because he is a man after God’s heart. He is kind , loving, always determined, result oriented, go-getter and a peoples person. Always carries around positive energy and likes to make peace with everyone.

ADVICE:My advice to anyone intending to get married is that they need to plan it early to avoid the last minute rush and use any resources at their disposal and avoid loans. Cheap is expensive but if well done it saves on costs. And they should not forget to pray.
